Halloween Parade- October 30th 2pm
Students may wear their costume to school or bring something that can go over their clothes. We are not allowing costumes with blood, gore or any weapons. They will not be allowed to do any costume changing in the restroom.
Halloween Parade Rain Plan:
If it is raining, parents and staff will receive an email/Talking Points message by noon letting everyone know the parade will move indoors. Parents will be gathered in the cafeteria and gym and students will parade through the classrooms.
Classrooms will parade going through the gym, cafeteria and then the classrooms and will follow the same order listed below.
Halloween Parade Route and Plan for Outdoors:
Parents will be asked to stand on the blacktop area and on the path along the grass to watch the parade.
5th Grade will start the parade. The classroom order for the parade will be Thornton, Parsio, Murphy, Wilson, Srail Gaydos, Rankey, Severance, Harrington, McCort, Fischer, Hollingsworth, Hale, Hainsey, Fago, Hollinger, McHugh,Richardson, Hoffman and Mixter. When you see Mrs. Gulley, parents will know the parade is done.
The parade will exit out the gym door, across the pavement and down the paved walkway toward the building along the sidewalk and around the building to reenter the front door.
Teachers will have some fun activites for students after the parade. We would like to encourage parents to allow them to stay for the fun after the parade.
