WMS Weekly Update April 16, 2026

Good Afternoon WMS Families:

Congratulations to the cast & crew of ‘Shrek the Musical, Jr’ for their performances this week. In partnership with Musical Theatre International and the Wamsutta PTO, the Drama club, led by a dedicated group of students & teachers, put on the first-ever stage musical at Wamsutta. A village of students, teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, clerks, administrators, parents, alumni all stepped up to make the performance possible. Thank you to the WMS PTO for making this possible

Reminder for All Families:

Every school day matters for student success. Research shows that regular attendance supports confidence, reduces stress, and builds strong habits for the future. While we recognize the value of family time and enrichment activities, families are reminded to consider the impact of any missed class time. Vacation/extracurricular absences are unexcused and represent learning time that cannot be recovered. We look forward to seeing all students as we return to school next Monday, April 27, 2026!

Have a great April Break!
