Fourth Grade at Field Day

And last, only because I couldn't find a photo, Jennifer Grace will be leaving us to become an ELL teacher. Best of luck to all of them in retirement and/or their next act!

We had a great spring season of Finding Our Stride! The boys' and girls' teams practiced running, squatting, planking, stretching and lots of teamwork. We wrapped up with an end-of-season celebration on May 29th, complete with popsicles and a boys vs. girls relay race. Our fundraiser this season was a bake sale at one of the middle school track meets. We raised a total of $2,261.02, which we donated to the PTO Schoolyard Committee for improvements to the HSS playground!!! Thank you, parents and teachers, for all of your support this season. FOS is open to 3rd and 4th graders. Keep an eye out for a fall season flyer at the beginning of next school year. Practices will start in early-to-mid September. We hope to see lots of new and familiar runners! Have a great summer.
