Warhawk Culture
Our 4-Year Journey & Commitments for 2025-26
At Westerville Central, our culture isn’t accidental—it’s intentional. Over the last four years, we’ve been on a shared journey to build, strengthen, and protect what it means to be a Warhawk. Each year has brought focus, growth, and a deeper understanding of our Warhawk Blueprint: Pursue Excellence, Better Together, and Own It.
Our Journey So Far:
-
Year 1 (2022-23) – Laying the Foundation: We set our core values in place and began building a strong Warhawk culture.
-
Year 2 (2023-24) – Building the Structure: We connected our values to daily actions and strengthened our community.
-
Year 3 (2024-25) – Strengthening & Growing: We refined, reinforced, and grew our culture together.
-
Year 4 (2025-26) – Owning the Edge - Protect: We empower students to own it, live it, and protect it—where average stops and elite starts.
This year, we are embracing The Edge—that space where life challenges us to grow, to push beyond “good enough,” and to become the best version of ourselves. At The Edge, average stops and elite starts.
Our 3 Warhawk Commitments for 2025-26:
-
Pursue Excellence – Push yourself and others to get better every day.
-
Better Together – Build each other up, collaborate, and strengthen our community.
-
Own It – Hold yourself and each other accountable for living our Blueprint in all you do.
We can’t wait to see how our students will rise to the challenge, lean into The Edge, and continue to make Warhawk Nation stronger than ever.
Wings Up,
Mrs. Sayre

Better Together
Thank you for a fantastic start to the year and for upholding our standards! A special shoutout for doing an outstanding job following our No Cell Phones policy—students are owning their 20 sq. ft., connecting more, and showing respect. We love seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter!
A few quick reminders:
-
Be where you’re supposed to be, on time.
-
Stay in class—every minute matters.
-
Passes are for emergencies only and must be carried if you leave.
-
Use the restroom closest to your classroom and return right away.
-
Stay in class until the bell rings.
We’re proud of our WARHAWKS—let’s keep it going!
Better Together,
Mrs. Sayre
Thank You to Jet’s Pizza!
