Student Drop Off / Pick Up

We are asking all parents dropping off students in the morning/picking up students in the afternoon, to utilize only the designated student drop-off/pick-up access lane in front of the building. To ensure student safety, students should not be dropped off/picked up in the staff lot, visitor lot, or on Belvo Road.

Students may be dropped off anywhere along the curb in the marked area. If you are parked along the curb in the marked space, your student will exit the vehicle and enter through one of the building entrances. This will allow us to get students exiting several cars at the same time, which will make the drop-off line more efficient and help with traffic in the morning. When exiting the drop off area, drivers may only turn right onto Belvo Rd. after dropping off their student(s).

All students arriving late to school/signing out early during the school day must enter/exit through our west Student Services office which faces the student parking lot. During the school day, all school materials, money, etc. for students should be brought to the Student Services office for delivery.

$18.00 which will be added to school fees. At this time, registration is reserved for

  • Direct link: https://forms.gle/yXB8HJ2RMNHnTbRr8
  • QR Code (At the bottom of the page): Look for PSAT Registration Form 2022 (Due 9.14.22)

Additional information:

● As a junior in high school, scoring well on the PSAT test gives students a chance to

enter the National Merit Scholarship program and gain access to college and career

planning tools.

● For more information on the PSAT, potential scholarship opportunities associated

with the PSAT, and preparation materials, go to the website:

● Please complete the registration form ONLY if the student wishes to take the test.

There is NO make-up day, so if a student misses the test day for any reason, there is

no other opportunity to take it at MHS.

● After the PSAT test finishes on test day, students will return to their afternoon classes after they eat lunch.

● If testing accommodations are needed, they need to be approved by the College

Board. The deadline to submit testing accommodation requests to the College

Immunization Requirements for Seniors

The Ohio Department of Health mandates the immunizations necessary for students attending school in Ohio. As of fall of 2016, the Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine is a required vaccine for seniors attending Ohio schools.

TWO doses of the meningococcal vaccine must be administered prior to entry in Grade 12. The recommended MCV4 minimum interval is at least 8 weeks between dose one (1) and dose two (2). If the first (1st) dose of MCV4 was administered on or after the 16th birthday, a second (2nd) dose is not required.

If you choose not to immunize your child, an Exemption Letter must be completed. This can be found on the district website.

PLEASE PROVIDE AN UPDATED VACCINE RECORD TO THE SCHOOL BEFORE SEPTEMBER 2, 2022 as verification that your child has received the Meningococcal (MCV4) Vaccine. If documentaion is not received by September 2, 2022, your child will be excluded from school until the paperwork is received.

Please contact your physician to schedule an appointment. Vaccines may also be obtained at Dayton & Montgomery County Public Health. Call (937) 225-4550 for additional information and clinic hours.

Feel free to contact Meghan Tishaus, RN at (937) 866-0771, extension 1029 with any questions.
