Principal's Message
Dear MMK Families,
I am thrilled to share some outstanding achievements from our school community this past week. Our SkillsUSA team represented MMK exceptionally well at the District competitions in Elma, bringing home multiple first-place finishes. Special congratulations to our American Spirit team of Andiana Ziegler, Cloey Fletcher, and Logan Green for their first-place victory, and to our
Entrepreneurship team consisting of Alexandria Stamper, Hayden Hughes, Hayden Roberts, and Bella Buck for also securing top honors. We're proud of all our competitors and look forward to cheering them on at the State Championships in March!
I'm also excited to announce that our Girls Basketball team has qualified for the 1B District 4 Tournament. Their first-round game will be at Pe Ell this Thursday at 6:00 PM. For those planning to attend and support our team, please note that district prices will be in effect: $8 for adults and $6 for students. You can also catch the action through the NFHS Network's live stream.
Looking ahead, February brings our focus to the character trait of honesty through our Character Strong program. This aligns perfectly with our school's commitment to developing not just academic skills, but also strong character and values in our students.
For our spring sports enthusiasts, please note that High School Baseball, Golf, and Track begin March 3rd, while Middle School Baseball and Track start March 10th. Remember to register your student-athletes through FinalForms as soon as possible.
Finally, I encourage all families to join us for our upcoming PTO meeting on Wednesday, February 12th at 3:30 PM in the elementary library. Your involvement helps strengthen our school community and supports our students' success.

Secondary Tutoring - Are you in grades 7-12 and want tutoring?
Dear MMK Families,
Our secondary tutoring program continues to provide academic support for students in grades 7-12. The program runs Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30 PM, offering students direct assistance from teachers on assignments and assessments.
Students must attend the full session unless prior arrangements for early pickup are confirmed by parents. While this is a valuable opportunity for academic support, families need to arrange transportation at 4:30 PM, as bus service is not available. Please note that tutoring should not be used as a waiting period for after-school events.
For questions about the program, please contact the main office.
