Dear Vikings,

It has been great for us to get back into our hybrid routine this week. Our eLearners are continuing on without a hitch and we are in a great rhythm once again. This year has been keeping us on our toes, and the students have done a remarkable job adapting.

If you are considering moving from eLearning to hybrid or vice versa, do not hesitate to contact us. We are flexible and willing to work with you and your child(ren) to meet your needs.

Thank you for your continued support with our safety procedures and everything you have been doing to help your child(ren) thrive this year!

Sincerely,

Ms. Aulisa

Any dental exam completed between November 2019 and May 15, 2021 will fulfill the state's requirement. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the mental health of Americans of all ages. Job losses, financial insecurity, remote learning and the loss of loved ones are added stressors to the fear of contracting the virus and social isolation many of us feel. In underserved communities with lower access to mental health and substance-use treatment, COVID-19 compounds longstanding racial disparities.
If you’ve been affected, you’re not alone.
WBEZ has gathered mental health experts to take your questions on how to cope during this stressful time and to connect you and your loved ones to helpful mental health resources.
This virtual event is part of a four-part series of COVID Conversations that seeks to connect Chicagoans this pandemic winter. Each hour-long event will feature a WBEZ host in conversation with experts, answering questions submitted by the public. Join us and be sure to submit questions ahead of time when registering or here. We’ll get to as many as we can during the event. Sign up on Facebook by clicking the link below.

  2. What is your favorite sport and why? I can’t choose a favorite sport!! I have two! I love coaching and playing basketball and softball!
  3. Do you have a favorite Hobby? I have a couple hobbies! I’ve always loved scrapbooking and I create a book for every year! I also love to build or refinish furniture, and this past summer I started gardening which is going to be a new hobby for the future!
  4. What do you like best about being a part of Kashwiki? Kashwicki is a great duo! I feel like we compliment each other well with our teaching styles and we both have a similar vision for our PE program!
  5. Do you have any pets? I don’t have any pets! Just two small children!! However, we are getting a puppy at the end of April!! We will be adding a mini Aussiedoodle to the Kasher clan! Both of my girls are very excited!
  6. Tell us something special about yourself or share something fun! I love living in the suburbs of Chicago however it is far different from where I grew up! I grew up 4 hours south on a farm! It was a wonderful way to grow up and I’ve leaned to appreciate both ways of life!
