Seniors, we need your help!
Come help us transform the senior hallway into The Upside Down! Join us on Wednesday, October 7 at 4:30 PM to help create decorations and set everything up for our Hallway Decorating Contest.

School Counseling - Senior News!
Senior Meetings
88% of Seniors have registered for their senior meeting. The class of 27 is the fastest to reach this point of all our graduates.
Seniors, it is time for you to book your required post-graduation advising appointment with your School counselor. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss your plan following high school graduation.
In addition, students applying to college will discuss what is needed to complete the process of formally requesting transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.
The window to book your appointment is September 10th to October 9th. Each appointment is 30 minutes. Parents are welcome to join the meeting as well.
BOOK YOUR SENIOR APPOINTMENT HERE
Please remember:
To select your counselor from the menu
- To bring your Chromebook or device you are using.
- To keep a copy the receipt email sent to you – this is your verification of your appointment.
- To check with your teacher if you book your appointment during class time to avoid booking during tests and quizzes.
- Should you have any trouble booking your appointment please contact your counselor for assistance.
Recommendation: Make a list of questions you may have before your selected meeting time.
In addition, please select your school counselor in bookings, not the anyone option.
2027–28 FAFSA® Form Now Available
The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is now available. Complete the form to apply for financial aid for attending college or career/trade school between July 1, 2027, and June 30, 2028.
If you submitted your form for the 2027–28 academic year during the early testing period, you don’t need to resubmit it.
Most FAFSA forms are processed immediately. Some can take one to three days. Once your form is processed, you can review your FAFSA Submission Summary. Your FAFSA information will also be sent to your selected schools.
If needed, you can update or correct your FAFSA form (such as to add a school).

Senior Photos and Yearbooks
LAST Round of Senior Portraits- Sept. 30, Oct. 1 & Oct. 2- SPOTS ARE FILLING UP QUICKLY!
Victor O’Neill studios will be at Rock Ridge Sept. 30-Oct. 2 for the LAST round of senior portraits. Don’t miss this opportunity to be photographed for the yearbook! The photography company will provide the traditional tuxedos and drapes for the senior portraits. In addition to the free yearbook session, the photography company also offers sessions that include casual/personality portraits and cap and gown portraits.
You must sign up for an appointment time to get your picture taken- the yearbook portraits are FREE. You can sign up for a time here: www.vosphoto.com/rockridge.
If you have any questions, please email the senior portraits team at seniors@vosphoto.com. Please include your senior’s first and last name and “Rock Ridge Class of 2027” when emailing for faster assistance.
Once these dates are over, you will not be able to get your picture taken at Rock Ridge and will need to organize a different senior photo shoot with the photography company, and your picture may not be included in the yearbook. Sign up now to get your senior picture done so you don’t miss your opportunity!!
SENIOR ADS- ON SALE NOW WITH EARLY BIRD PRICING!
Senior/baby Ads are available now with EARLY BIRD PRICING- prices will go up Oct. 26. If you would like to place a senior/baby ad to recognize and congratulate your senior in the yearbook, all ads are due by Dec. 19. To buy an ad, all you need to do is go to https://yearbookforever.com, click on “Get Started” under “Create an Ad.” There you will choose your size, upload your pictures, and include your text. The yearbook staff will do the rest for you. Here is an example of previous senior ads.
