Introduction
Hello! My name is Mikayla Faber, and I am the Family Services Coordinator at NPHS. I am excited to be back at NPHS for my second year!
I am from Wisconsin, where I was born and raised. I got married and then my husband enlisted in the US Army. During COVID, we moved to Ft. Hood, Texas where we lived for 3 years and I obtained my bachelor's in social psychology. In 2023, I moved here to Fairbanks. My husband and I love it here and are making it our home. I have two dogs, Ace and Leia. My hobbies include reading, walking my dogs, traveling, and making sourdough!
I am excited to be working with the Fairbanks Native Association- Johnson O'Malley Program this school year, providing social emotional support, tutoring, school engagement activities, college and career awareness, cultural activities, and family engagement to Alaska Native and American Indian students at North Pole High School. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student!
