District Update September 2024

Superintendent's Message

Dear Fairview Community,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well and rejuvenated after what I trust was a relaxing and enjoyable summer. As the new school year approaches, I am excited to welcome you and your children back to another year of learning, growth, and opportunities.

At Fairview Public Schools, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and academically rigorous environment where every student can thrive. Our dedicated teachers and staff have been working hard to prepare for the year ahead, ensuring that we continue to foster a community where curiosity is encouraged, talents are nurtured, and students are equipped with the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world.

We also place great value on the partnership between home and school. Your involvement plays a critical role in your child's success, and we look forward to collaborating with you throughout the year. Please take note of key dates such as our Back-to-School Night where we will have the opportunity to connect and discuss with your child’s teacher.

As always, the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We continue to follow guidelines from numerous authorities to ensure a healthy and safe learning environment for everyone. Should you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s school or our district office.

Together, we can make this a successful and memorable school year for all. I am confident that with your support, this year will be filled with growth, learning, and achievement.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We look forward to a successful school year filled with endless possibilities.

Yours in education,

Damon J. Englese, M.Ed.
