Family Newsletter
October 13-16
Dear Families,
Today, as our school observes Indigenous Peoples' Day, we take time to recognize, honor, and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and enduring contributions of Native American communities. In our classrooms, we strive to foster respect, cultural awareness, and critical thinking by engaging students in learning about the diverse heritage and voices of Indigenous peoples across our nation and world.
We encourage families to use today as an opportunity to reflect, share stories, and learn together. Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us build an inclusive, thoughtful, and globally-minded school community.
Strong Attendance = Strong Academic Success!
Consistent, daily attendance is one of the most critical factors in your child’s academic achievement, social development, and overall success. Every lesson builds upon the last, and missing even a few days a month can create learning gaps.
Building Routine: Daily attendance fosters habits of responsibility, punctuality, and commitment.
Classroom Connections: Presence allows students to participate fully in discussions, hands-on projects, and peer collaboration.
Staying Supported: When students are here, our teachers and staff can immediately support their individual academic and emotional needs.
Please help us set your child up for success by ensuring they arrive on time every day, ready to learn. If your student must be absent, please communicate with the main office promptly.
