Staff Member of the Month!
I would like to nominate Jess for Staff Member of the Month because she consistently goes above and beyond for our students, staff, and school community. Jess is the kind of person who does what needs to be done; not because she is asked to, but because she knows it is often simply the right thing to do. She is dependable, compassionate, and always willing to step in and help, even when it may not be part of her official responsibilities. Jess approaches every situation with kindness and a genuine desire to make things better for those around her. Whether she is supporting a student, helping a colleague, or taking on an extra task, she does so without hesitation and without expecting recognition. What makes Jess especially deserving of this recognition is that her commitment comes from the heart. She consistently puts the needs of others first and demonstrates the kind of teamwork, compassion, and dedication that makes our school a better place. Jess is someone we can count on, and her willingness to go the extra mile does not go unnoticed. She truly embodies what it means to be a supportive, caring, and dedicated member of our school community. I am grateful to work alongside her and believe she is very deserving of Staff Member of the Month.
I’d like to nominate my fellow para, Jess Garrity, for Staff Member of the Month. She is genuine, and even keeled, and she brings so much patience and kindness to her work with students in our sub-separate program. She meets each student with a calm and caring approach, and you can tell how much she loves them.
I’m pleased to nominate Jess for Staff Member of the Month. Jess is one of the most professional people in our building. Her colleagues regularly tell us how much they value working with her and what an asset she is to our school. Jess is calm and patient with students while holding them to high expectations. She is flexible, always willing to help when administration asks, and goes above and beyond to support her colleagues. We are so very fortunate to have her on our team!!!
Trivia Night
Trivia Night is on October 22nd at Kowloon. The cost for a team of 5 is $275 or $55 a person. Mike will work with the PTO to hopefully cut the cost in half. The dinner is at 6:00 and the game starts at 7:00. Please see Christine for the Team Sheets.

Puteri Update
My kids got their love of traditions from me. Luckily (or unluckily), they NEVER forget exactly what we did the year before.
Last year, we went apple picking in the rain with their cousins and discovered a lone peach tree with what the kids declared were magical peaches. We then ended the day at Kowloon! So this year, they insisted we wait for a rainy day to go back.
Yesterday delivered! We went to Cider Hill, found a peach tree, and (of course) ended the day at Kowloon. I have a feeling this tradition is here to stay!!

2nd Annual Thrilling Thrifting Event
I’ll be at school after dismissal every day getting ready for the Thrifting Pop-Up. If you’d like to help, come on up! We could use help sorting, organizing, and steaming clothes.
We won’t be accepting any more donations this week, unless you find a treasure too good to pass up!
The raffle table donations have been amazing, and everyone is getting excited
Thank you to everyone who has helped. It’s been so nice to see everyone working together for such a great cause!
