December 2025 Odometer
Can you believe we almost made it to December without a snowflake in the metro area! I am loving this extended fall weather, as I am sure most of you are. I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and got to spend it with your loved ones, if not, people you really like!
For those of you who missed the Zoom meeting in November, there has been another change (hopefully the last one) to your ZCCC board. Jason, our former Odometer Editor, had to step away temporarily, and our wonderful social media director, Tiffany, stepped in to help out. Unfortunately, Jason’s mom passed away, and he needed to take some more time for personal reasons and so Tiffany Gordon is our newest board member and your new Odometer Editor. Thank you, Tif, for all you continue to do to keep our club and all our members informed.
Your public relations director, Don Gordon, sent me a short video from one of our vendors, “The Man Cave”. They had a little get-together on Nov. 22nd with the Porsche Club. About 30 Porsches showed up to show off. He then stated, “I wish we had a turnout like that”. If the Porsche club can turn out for a quick event in November, why can’t we????? We need to get in our Z’s when the weather is nice and do “club things”. We would love your ideas, please.
Speaking of club things, our annual Z holiday party is on December 6th. We are looking forward to seeing lots of you in attendance. We will have a sign-up sheet at the Zoom meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, for those who haven’t signed up yet. Again, we are going to have a “white elephant” gift exchange, which is always a lot of fun. Please attend the Zoom meeting by clicking on the link in the Odometer for all the details.
According to our vice president, Cheryle Derman, next year's calendar is wide open, so we hope to add some events to the calendar soon. If you have any ideas of places to visit, old or new, and would like to host an event, contact her so we can start filling up the events page for 2026.
