AN EVENING OF CULTURE, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND BREADS!

Food is a connector for people all over the world and an integral part of any culture. Food is representative of one of many things that help cultures around the world maintain their unique identity and strengthens community bonds. Encouraging children to explore new textures, flavors, and aromas is a way of promoting risk-taking and broadening their horizons to the world around them.

The 2nd Annual Preschool International Bread Night will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 6:00 pm. This is a Family Event where all household family members are welcome to join!

Families can volunteer to bring in sample size bites for 50-100 people of a bread-like item representative of your culture/heritage. We encourage you to bring in artifacts representative of your culture such as flags, decorations, photos, statues, etc. Please sign up below if you are interested in bringing in bread samples native to your heritage.

ALL ELC families are invited to attend the event, so pack your bags to go on a trip around the world with your preschool friends! Along with the opportunity to taste a variety of breads, there will be other fun activities for families to partake in as well, including an international book nook, art space, sensory table and family photo area!
