LMHS Updates

Recently it has become an issue just about everywhere that some cars are not stopping for school buses when they have their flashing lights on. Please know that all traffic on both sides of the road must come to a stop when a school bus has its lights flashing! This is extremely important for student safety.

All students must return their Chromebooks before leaving school for the summer... this is true even if a student will be attending summer school. Chromebooks not returned will be billed to the family at our replacement cost, currently $275 for a Chromebook and $25 for just a charger. Thanks for reminding your students!

The last day of school is Thursday, June 18 -- a half day with dismissal at 11:26am. School offices will be closed on Friday, June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday. We expect to send final report cards home via email on Monday, June 22.

Protect your school-issued Chromebook, and save on your insurance next year! If you purchase a Chromebook sleeve you'll save $5 on your insurance for the 2026-2027 school year. (Note that our insurance provider has let us know that the insurance next year will increase from $25 to $30 -- so if you buy a sleeve for protection, the insurance rate won't increase for you.)
