Athletics Athletics

Our Winter Sports Teams began competition this week. Highlights include:

  • Monday our Basketball Teams played Miller at home. The Lady Canes won easily 35-21 and many of our girls got to play. Our boys won a very competitive game 30-24! The cheerleaders looked great as well! We had a packed house to start off our season!
  • Wednesday our Basketball teams played at Twiggs where they swept both games!
  • Thursday was our first wrestling match! We took on Miller & Weaver. The Canes were triumphant, winning 19 of 25 matches! Coach Brocato was pleased that we had so many new wrestlers who came on top during their first match ever! Keep up the good work!
  • Our Athletic Director Coach Sandifer said it was a great opening week for winter sports! Thanks to all the students, families, teachers, and fans for their support!
