Street Closure
Tomorrow, October 28th, 2025, the city will be closing off Lebeau street (used to be called Chemin de L'Usine), as they will be paving it. Due to this, we are going to be changing the pick-up, drop off, and daycare for this period of time.
The staff parking entrance is not to be used for daycare. If parents are dropping off their children late (after 9:15 a.m.), or are picking up their children earlier before the end of day, parents should use the staff parking entrance on 9th Avenue.
All daycare parents will be asked to park their car on the other street (see map), after the school, and walk their children in the school yard, using the big gated door near the gymnasium. Parents will then use the gymnasium door. There will be a sign on the door that says daycare. Ms. Joan will not be at her office, as she will be in the gymnasium.
All morning drop-off and end of day pick-up will take place on the other street after the school (see map). Parents will be asked to park their cars on the raod and come to the big gate near the gymnasium.
We will send out an email, when the other road becomes available.
Operation Warm
This event will take place on November 12th, 2025.
A photo waiver form has been sent home today. Please note that if you do not consent for your child to be photographed or filmed during the event, your child will still be receiving a brand new coat.

School fees are going out this week. For an questions, please contact Ms. Nancy, our school secretary.
Halloween Costumes - October 31st
On Friday, October 31st, 2025, Heritage students will be celebrating Halloween. All students are invited to arrive to school in costume. Please make sure that costume accessories, such as weapons (i.e. swords, guns, etc.) remain at home; otherwise, they will be confiscated. No masks, violent or inappropriate costumes will be permitted. Please exercise good judgement when making decisions about the appropriateness of costumes. Please also remeber that the children will be going outside to play with their costumes on.
Haunted House - October 24th
A huge shout out to the Halloween Club for a very spooky and successful event!
Thank you to Jessica G., Todd, Maria A., and Raffaella for this thrilling and scary event, and for working hard with all the students who participated. Also, a big thank you to the students and all the staff and parents who volunteered their time for making this event successful and a night to remember. I only heard positive comments, as parents and students were leaving.
Also, we want to thank Les Fermes Émile Gariépy for their pumpkin donation, as this allowed the Halloween Club to raise extra funds.

commemorate their service and sacrifice. If your child has any relatives who have served for the Canadian Military, please send in a picture of them byNovember 6th. Please write the soldiers’ name on the back of the pictures, as well as your child’s name, and their relation.
Looking for Veteran Guest Speaker(s)
We are also reaching out for any veterans who are interested in speaking at our school assembly on November 11th, with the possibility of also having a Question/Answer period in our Cycle 2 & 3
