Make sure you check your student's backpack for their report card! They were sent home today. Our students worked hard and are ready for this break. Stay safe and enjoy your spring break! We will see everyone back at school on March 30th!

Math fun with STEM Lab Yahtzee

Third grade studied inherited traits. First, they flipped a coin to create their monster. Then in pairs they saw what their final monster would inherit. If they had opposite traits, they flipped a coin to see what trait the offspring would inherit.

Fourth grade learned about the internal and external structures of a plant.

Students have used the WHOLE Engineering Design Process when creating their robots for the battle! They will have one more day of building after spring break and then step into the mat for the robot wars! May the best robot win!!

Teachers have been making phone calls to families to inform them of their student's IREAD results. Letters will be sent home when return from spring break with information about summer school if your student did not pass. In addition, family portal access codes will be sent for families to access their student's results online. See the slide show below for more information.

Parents of students interested in joining the band in sixth grade will learn about the band program at Maconaquah and the music instrument rental program offered by Paige's Music.

If there is a change in your child's transportation, whether they will be picked up or riding a bus, it MUST be communicated with the front office. This can be done by sending a note to school or calling the office. If you call the office, please make sure you speak with a person. There is a central list at each elementary school, which allows us to check when students are unsure and the teacher may not be available. Do not just send a message to the teacher. The office MUST be notified. Thank you!

NOTE: Transportation changes should be in to the office by 2:00 pm.

A friendly reminder: for the safety of our students, please remember to bring your photo ID whenever you visit the school for any reason, including student pickup, lunch, or meetings.
