Hello #FinallyFifth Families!
I am so excited to start this new school year with your child! This week we focused on learning our routines and procedures and getting back in the swing of being at school! Next week we will begin our Units of Study for all subjects. Please see below for what we'll be covering during these units.
Our nightly homework is for every to student to read for at least 20 minutes a night. This helps tremendously with student's progress in reading. If your student needs to bring books home and forgets to, please let me know and I'll make sure one finds its way their backpacks.
REMINDERS:
- Our class website and the Carver website are both updated frequently, so please bookmark these for easy access.
- Any changes in transportation must be done in writing (email doesn't count). If transportation changes during the school day, you must contact the office to arrange for changes.
- Send your student to school each day with a water bottle, healthy snack (or 2), and their daily communication folder.
As always, please don't hesitate to contact me via phone/text/email if you have any questions or concerns.
