Dear Superintendent:
Anyone age 16 and older will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination in Indiana starting March 31.
Please see the attached information to share with your high school students and their parents. It has important information about how to register for vaccination. Of particular note is the fact that students younger than 18 years old must make an appointment at a site that offers the Pfizer vaccine, as it is the only shot authorized for 16- and 17-year-olds.
Thank you for your help in sharing this vital information with your students and families.
Sincerely,
Kristina Box, MD, FACOG
State Health Commissioner

April 28, 2021 Message from Dr. Tim Hanson - Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township
April 28, 2021
Good afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff, this is Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township with one important announcement.
Based on current data, information and need, we are planning for a K-8 VIRTUAL & 9-12 ONLINE learning experience for the 2021-2022 school year. This school year has taught us a lot about meeting our students’ needs through these two learning models. We have included those lessons learned into planning for the upcoming school year.
There are two very distinct changes that I would like to bring to your attention. Unlike this school year, there will be a limited number of students who will be enrolled in the K-8 VIRTUAL and 9-12 ONLINE models. We have set these limits based on our observations of this school year. I would like to note that we will continue to be responsive to COVID data and continue to provide a safe option for our students and staff as needed.
The other significant difference from this school year is the application requirement. As a part of the new process, parents / caregivers will be required to submit an application if they would like their child to participate in the K-8 VIRTUAL or 9-12 ONLINE model. This will allow us to better plan for our students and teachers. It will also allow us to determine if the model is the best option for each student. Applications for the 21-22 school year are now available at the links below and will be included in our school newsletters and on our website, warren.k12.in.us.

Moving forward, we will provide updates and new information on an ongoing basis. If you do have questions, you may contact one of the following administrators:
K-4 VIRTUAL Programing - Mr. Greg Butler (317-532-3950)
5-8 VIRTUAL Programing - Mrs. Carey Storm, Creston (317-532-6800), Dr. John Kleine, Raymond Park (317-532-8900), Mr. Jason Smith, Stonybrook (317-532-8800)
9-12 ONLINE Programing - Mrs. Masimba Taylor (317-532-2996)
We look forward to providing a safe and high quality learning experience for our students, families and staff. Thank you for your trust and continued investment in Warren students and schools.
April 25, 2021 Message from Mr. Rich Shepler - Principal
Good evening this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.
Are you looking for academic support to help you finish the school year strong? Starting on Monday, May 3rd, we will be offering after school tutoring Monday through Thursday in our West Cafeteria from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Food and transportation home will be provided if needed.
Senior families, please be reminded that seniors must complete all graduation requirements in order to participate in the graduation ceremonies taking place on June 3rd and 4th in our Performing Arts Center.
As the warm weather approaches, please remind your child to dress appropriately for school. The school dress code is outlined in the Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.
We must all still remain vigilant and continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Please remind your students to continue to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth when in the school building, maintain social distance, and wash their hands frequently. Additionally, please continue to quarantine and report students that are symptomatic or have tested positive for COVID.
Lastly, it is important that students continue to check email and weekly cohort newsletters regularly. Communication is key to our success.
Thank you so much for your time and have a great evening.
