MCAS Family Portal

Dear NPS Families,

The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has moved student MCAS reports to the MCAS Family Portal.

Preliminary results from the spring of 2026 are now available. Final results, including student growth information and comparisons to school, district, and statewide results, will be available in late September. The portal will also include results from previous years (if available).

Please note: if your student was registered at a school in 2025-26 where they did not take MCAS (e.g., private, out of state, homeschool), you will not have a log in credential. If your student was not registered in Newburyport in 2025-26 but did take the spring tests and they do not have a credential, please contact your school principal.

1. Find your MCAS Portal Registration Code on Aspen

• Log into your Aspen Family Portal
• Switch to the Full Aspen Site
• Select the top tab: FAMILY
• Select the side list: DETAILS
• Look for: MCAS REGISTRATION CODE

• student’s registration code (found on Aspen, see above)
• student’s date of birth

• create an account
• add your student to your account
• view your student’s test results
