Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs his/her picture retaken.

If you are having a picture taken as a RETAKE, please make sure your student returns their package in its entirety, including the package insert sheet, to the photographer on retake day.

I just wanted to remind Truman Tribe that our Pumpkin Book Character contest starts soon! Decorated Pumpkins can be brought to school Oct 20th-24th. Pumpkins can not be cut or carved. Pumpkins will be displayed in the cafeteria for voting. Pumpkins will go home October 27th.

Have fun decorating your pumpkins.

Each morning the entire school starts our day together in the gym. Students get time to hug other teachers and chat with their friends as well as time to eat breakfast if they choose! At 8:32 I take a minute to get their attention, get them quiet and then we all say the Pledge of Allegiance together. Following the pledge we do a series of Affirmations where they repeat after me and then we finish with a breathing strategy before they head to class and start their day.

Below is an example of some affirmations we use and also the breathing strategy we used this week.
