Superintendent Note
Beal City Public Schools Welcomes New Superintendent, Jason Wolf
Beal City Public Schools is proud to introduce Jason Wolf as the district’s new Superintendent. With a career spanning 23 years in education—as a teacher, coach, and administrator—Mr. Wolf brings both a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to student-centered learning and community partnership.
Mr. Wolf is no stranger to Beal City, having previously served as principal of Beal City Elementary from 2011 to 2016. During that time, he developed a deep appreciation for the district’s culture of collaboration, excellence, and care for students. Now returning in a new leadership role, he shared his excitement about once again joining the Beal City team.
“I am truly honored and humbled to be chosen as the next Superintendent of Beal City Public Schools,” Wolf said. “It is a privilege to join such a dedicated, talented, and caring team, and I am eager to begin our work together in service of our students, families, and community.”
Mr. Wolf has worked with students at every level, from elementary through high school. He is especially passionate about fostering safe and inclusive learning environments where students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. He emphasizes collaboration and shared purpose as essential ingredients for lasting success.
Beyond his professional role, Mr. Wolf values family and community. He and his wife, Heather, have been married for 28 years. Heather serves as a high school social studies teacher and instructional coach at Shepherd Schools. Together, they have two daughters—Bridgette, a registered nurse at MyMichigan Health-Midland, and Grace, a senior at Rider University pursuing a BFA in musical theatre. The Wolfs also enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren, traveling, being on the water, and exploring history.
Mr. Wolf looks forward to working alongside Beal City’s staff, students, and families to continue building on the district’s proud tradition of excellence. He believes that meaningful progress comes from listening, learning, and collaborating together.
“I am energized by what I have already seen and deeply excited for what we will accomplish together,” he said. “I am here to help and I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work side by side to ensure every student has the knowledge, skills, and support they need to thrive.”
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Jason Wolf back to the Beal City community and in supporting his vision for the future of our schools.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND DELAYS
Starting this school year, all school districts in Isabella County, including ours, will be adjusting weather-related delays from two-hours to three-hours to better prioritize the safety of our students and staff during winter travel. This change allows additional daylight and gives county road crews more time to clear and treat the roads, helping ensure safer commutes. By adding this extra hour, we hope to reduce the number of full school day cancellations, as conditions may improve enough for safe travel. As always, we will make our initial decisions regarding a delay or cancellation by 6:00 a.m., and if conditions do not improve, any shift from a delay to a cancellation will be made by 8:00 a.m.
SCHOOL HOURS
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL 8:05 AM-2:55 PM
NOTE: For three hour delays, add three hours to your buildings start time.

4th Grade Students Visit Bryant Farms
Our 4th grade students recently enjoyed an exciting field trip to Bryant Farm in Shepherd! The day was filled with hands-on learning as students explored the many aspects of farm life. They had the opportunity to see animals up close, learn about crops and farming equipment, and discover how food goes from the farm to the table.
The trip gave students a deeper understanding of agriculture and its importance in our community. A big thank you goes out to Bryant Farm for welcoming our students and providing such an educational and memorable experience!

BCHS Students Explore Health Careers Through Pipeline Program
Several BCHS students took advantage of an exciting opportunity this past summer by participating in the Health Careers Pipeline Program developed and implemented by Mid Central Area Health Education Center in partnership with Central Michigan University’s College of Medicine. The Health Careers Pipeline Program is a nine-week curriculum in the fall for 9th and 10th graders from three local participating high schools. It is designed to provide high school students with opportunities to not only learn how to improve their health and well-being but also inspire them to believe in their own intellectual strengths and aspire to post-secondary educational pursuits in the health professions.
BCHS is proud to share that several of our students are continuing their journey this fall by enrolling in the next session of the program. Their commitment to learning and exploring future career paths is commendable, and we look forward to seeing the impact these experiences will have on their educational and career goals.
