Lutherville Lab Report
What's gone down & what's coming up at the leopards' lair.
March 25, 2022
We enjoyed a full week of learning here at the lab! A highlight was the transition to tables in the cafeteria. The kids were so glad to be able to eat and chat with their friends, and students who ate with additional space transitioned smoothly to tables when finished. Special kudos also to our 5th graders who were also able to navigate seat-selection this week without a hiccup.
The third quarter is coming to a close. Please note that this upcoming Friday, April 1st, is a 3-hour early dismissal for students at 1:05pm.
In case you missed it last week, the Spring Events schedule is attached. We wish everyone a lovely weekend as we navigate what we hope is the last chilly weather of the spring.
In partnership,
-Mr. McComb

Touchdown for Teachers
Do you know a teacher who goes above and beyond? The Baltimore Ravens Touchdown for Teachers program™, presented by M&T Bank, recognizes local teachers for outstanding service to their schools and communities. Three finalists will be selected by a panel of community members, the Ravens and M&T Bank. One teacher will receive a $4,000 grant for their school, a school visit by a Ravens player, Poe and Cheerleaders, a Ravens jersey and a virtual tech talk focused on sports and computer science, provided by M&T personnel.
The top 3 teachers will be chosen based on one or more of the following criteria:
- Amount of involvement in the school and/or community (ex: volunteering, coaching, after school programs, etc.)
- Degree of positive impact on the school and/or community
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to education in the school and/or community
Kindergarten Round-Up!
Please save and share the dates below for Kindergarten Round-Up for the 2022-2023 school year! This is for children who will be 5-years-old by September 1, 2022.
The in-person round-up event will allow families to have their child meet a kindergarten teacher, confer on registration documents with office staff, meet additional support staff members, and (hopefully) take a brief tour of the school.
April 1st: 1:30 – 4:00
May 3rd: 12:30 – 4:00
Please have interested families complete this form: Kindergarten Enrollment Contact Information
Outside of these dates, registration can also be completed online or by appointment, but these dates are preferred if workable for families.
Update: We will be reaching out to families next week to begin scheduling. Please encourage others to provide their contact information using the link above.
