LMS Friends,
We have had another rich and full week at LMS! There is always much going on and our hallways are bubbling with active students with hidden smiles.
Our returning Student Council members have worked out our Spirit Days for this year. We are kicking off our spirit days on September 24th with Fancy Friday. This is my personal favorite spirit day of the year! Also, every Friday is LMS PRIDE Day when we don't have a special spirit day. Please encourage your students to participate in all of our spirit days!
As we close out our first full week of school since the start of the year, next week is really the week where our staff and students settle into the routines of the 21-22 year.
Enjoy this week's Scoop! It looks to be a wonderful weekend!
Regards,
John P. D'Entremont, Principal

Morning Arrival and Drop-Off Update
We continue to monitor mornings and so far things seem to be working with the slight adjustment from last week. We will continue to have an administrator start getting students out of cars at 7:15AM. Students will start to line up by their respective doors and will be let into the building around 7:21/7:22.
Thank you for your continued reminders to your students to be ready to exit the car once you enter the drop off loop. This helps a lot!
Thank you for driving slowly and your patience during both morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
Dismissal (PikMyKid) Update
Please remember that you have the power to change your child's plans right up to 2PM. You can change your child's dismissal to bus (if they haver permission to ride a bus), car loop, walker, or after school programs each day. Please make sure you change your child's plans in the system; otherwise, you might want to pick up by car and your child gets on the bus because a change wasn't entered into PikMyKid.
If you still need permission to ride a bus or have questions on buses - please call or email Paula Harthan at the Transportation Office at 603-298-0832 or pharthan@sau88.net.

Got Routines?
Have we established the necessary routines?
As we settle into school, it is important that we establish both school and home routines. Going to bed and waking up at consistent times are important for middle schoolers. Packing lunch every night before going to bed can be a part of a routine. Walking the dog every morning before heading to the bus stop can be a part of a routine. These important benchmarks help middle schoolers navigate their growingly complex days and many students need help identifying these benchmarks.
Thanks for your partnership in helping your students manage their schedules.
