From the Principal From the Principal

  • This week is Assistant Principal week. Shout out to Mrs. Renner, who has been a natural fit into the Munhall community. We appreciate her positive attitude, hard work mentality and ability to connect with our students, staff and families.

  • We celebrated Autism Acceptance week and it was awesome! We will continue to throughout all of April. It was awesome to see some of our students wearing the same shirt as some of our staff.

  • It was a great first week back from spring break. We loved seeing our Mustangs back in the building.

  • A continued awesome job by our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students on IAR. Our students have made our staff extremely proud for their hard work.

  • As a reminder, Science Night is tonight! Science night is at East High School and begins at 6:00. Please see the flyer for more details. Thank you!

  • We have PTO on Monday @ 5:00. Please join us in the LRC, or via zoom (I will send the link on Monday).

  • As a reminder, students have NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 17.

  • As a reminder, we are attending the Kane County Cougars game on Wednesday, May 13, as a whole-school field trip. With permission, all of our students at Munhall will attend, and we will have a wonderful time. With that, part of earning a free ticket was by completing the reading program. If your child did not complete the reading program, please do not purchase any tickets for your child. I will have some more communication in the future about this game.
