November Newsletter
2026-27
From the Office
I hope that everyone in our school family is doing well.
It would be understatement to say that this the past month has been a busy one, as conversations with many families have shown the same.
With activities going on outside and inside the school in full swing. We have had our Walk for Breakfast, Thanksgiving, Bookfair, Open House, Jamarama and Halloween activities, it has been a busy month for everyone.
I hope that everyone finds time to rest and recharge in their own way, I'm a big believer in physical activity and humor, however it is important to do whatever works for you.
Again, thank you to all of our volunteers, families, community members, staff and students for making Sacred Heart Academy and amazing place.

Student Allergy & Anaphylaxis Management
At Sacred Heart Academy we strive to maintain an allergy-aware school environment that minimizes exposure to life-threatening allergens.
If your child has a diagnosed severe or life-threatening (anaphylactic) allergy, or requires emergency medication (such as an epinephrine auto-injector) while at school, please review our updated Student Allergy and Anaphylaxis Management Information Package.
We will be in contact with families to ensure that we have updated plans and information.
Key Action Items for Parents & Guardians:
- Mandatory Medical Documentation: Before staff can administer emergency medication or execute a safety plan, parents must provide a completed Form A (Administration of Medications) signed by a practicing physician, along with an Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Plan.
- Epinephrine Auto-Injectors: Parents must supply the school with two unexpired auto-injectors (e.g., EpiPen® or Allerject®) in their original pharmacy packaging. One is carried by the student (if age 6+ and capable), and the second is stored at the school Office.
- Student Self-Administration: If your child carries their own auto-injector, a completed Form D (Student Self-Administration Consent) must also be submitted.
- Annual Renewal: All allergy plans and medication authorizations must be renewed at the beginning of each school year or whenever medical instructions change.
Accessing Forms & Information:
The full Information Package and direct download links to Form A, Form D, and the Anaphylaxis Management Plan are available on our school website or directly from the main office.
Please contact the main office if you have any questions or need assistance completing your child’s health paperwork. Thank you for working with us to keep our school community safe!

Personal Items Such as Toys, Stuffed Animals and Fidgets
