Our Curriculum - enCore Our Curriculum - enCore

Our small group classrooms work with the adapted curriculum enCore. There are a total of 36 units; each grade level (K-5) has 6 units each. Because our classes have multiple grade levels we can use two units simultaneously. For example, a teacher can work with a Kindergarten unit and a 5th grade unit to meet the different needs of students. Each unit has an adapted fiction and non-fiction book. It takes six weeks to complete one full unit, we work 3 weeks with each book in the unit. Each unit provides activities related to vocabulary, writing, phonics, math, science and social studies.
