Hello everyone, it has been such a fun week at DCS! Monday afternoon we had our second Whole School Meeting where we celebrated birthdays and recognized our Miss Emily Award recipient for Caring and Kindness. We also spent time talking and sharing about our second theme of the school year "Attitude." It was wonderful to hear the feedback from the students about their experiences with the impact of a positive attitude as well as how they can support others attitudes by encouraging them!
October is often known as Fire Prevention Month and we were fortunate to have NH Fire Safety and the Dublin Fire Department bring the fire safety trailer to DCS. It was a great opportunity to learn about the different number of beeps for Carbon Monoxide Alarm or Fire Alarm, as well as the importance of your family identifying a meet up place in case of a house emergency.
Today started with an amazing STEM activity called Boo Bubbles! It was so much hands on and science learning. We hope to have Mr. Jeremy come back soon! The day ended with our annual Halloween Parade up to the Yankee Parking Lot. We love the joy with which we are met and of course students loved the treats they received. We are so lucky to be a part of this amazing and supportive community! Speaking of community, please read below about ways our town is supporting each other to meet needs. Have a sweet weekend, Nicole
