🍁🍂We are just one week away from Fall Break, and there is so much to look forward to before we take time to rest and recharge. Our teachers are hard at work preparing report cards, which will be sent home on December 6. Their dedication ensures that you have a clear understanding of your child's progress, and we are grateful for the care they bring to this process.

This week is full of exciting events! Our PTA General Meeting will be held on Wednesday evening. This is a perfect chance to stay connected and hear important updates about upcoming initiatives and ways to engage with our school community as well as my latests updates. You can also ask any questions or provide suggestions you might have🙂.

On Thursday at 2:15 PM, we invite you to join us for our Thanksgiving Parade. Our students have been busy designing and creating their own balloon projects, and this is their moment to proudly share them with the McKinley community. It’s a wonderful way to kick off the holiday spirit together.

Additionally, on Friday morning, we’ll host our annual Turkey Trot🦃 . This is always a favorite event for students, staff, and families, and it’s a great opportunity to get involved. If you haven’t signed up to volunteer yet, please check out the PTA Corner for more information. Your support helps make this event a success!

Finally, I want to remind all families that we have around 120 families who have opted out from having pictures being taken of their children. In order to protect their privacy under laws such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) for student records, we request that you refrain from using your phones/cameras to record or take any pictures while in school grounds. Please, help me out with this and don't make me have to tell each of you individually, I will greatly appreciate it.

Finalmente, quiero recordarles a todas las familias que tenemos alrededor de 120 familias que han optado por no permitir que se tomen fotos de sus hijos. We are pleased to announce that registration for the Burlingame Youth Baseball Association (BYBA) 2025 Spring Season is now open! The spring season serves youth ages 5-14 and runs approximately from mid-February to mid-May. Early bird registration pricing is now available!!
