Architecture Expo!
Fall 2025 Book Design Challenge: Iggy Peck, Architect
This fall, our Book Design Challenge is inspired by Iggy Peck, Architect! Students will become young architects, combining literacy, creativity, and math as they design unique buildings based on themes from the book.
Each grade level will be assigned a different type of structure to imagine and build. As part of the challenge, students will explore geometry concepts like shapes, angles, measurement, and spatial reasoning, turning their ideas into thoughtful, math-based designs.
These projects will be launched with Mrs. Sloan in the library, built at home, and will be brought back to school with the planning sheet (only the sheet with the grid paper) to be part of our Architecture Expo!
The lessons will take place between September 30th and October 9th.
What are we building?
All artifacts are due on Friday, October 24th!
