Asian duo shakes hands on setting up modular EPC and fabrication manufacturing shop in India
AG&P Industrial, a subsidiary of Singapore’s AG&P Group, has joined forces with Pragati Infra Solutions (PISL), an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and infrastructure development company, to establish India’s first advanced modular EPC and fabrication manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh.

Nine Andhra fishermen released from Bangladesh Navy Custody
Nine fishermen from Vizianagaram district, who were detained by the Bangladesh Navy were released following sustained diplomatic efforts by the Centre and the Andhra Pradesh government. The fishermen were apprehended in October 2025 after they inadvertently crossed into Bangladesh waters while fishing.

Tamil Nadu bags Rs 22,795 crore tourism investments, 66,000 jobs at Global Tourism Summit
The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday secured Rs 22,795 crore in tourism investment commitments and nearly 66,000 potential jobs after signing 127 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) at the Tamil Nadu Global Tourism Summit 2026. Stalin said the State had invested Rs 612 crore in tourism over the past five years, attracting nearly 129 crore domestic and 4.5 crore foreign tourists, but stressed the need to scale up arrivals further.

Indo-Timor Leste healthcare academic ties strengthened in Hyderabad
The first Indo-Timor Leste healthcare and academic engagements were held in Hyderabad marking a significant step towards strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. The high level meetings were held by His Excellency Karlito Nunes, Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste who visited the city from January 29 to February 1 accompanied by Nawab Mir Najaf Alli Khan, grandson of Nizam VII.
