Meetings are available in person, by phone, or via Zoom.

To request a meeting, please email me with:

• Your availability
• Your preferred meeting format (in person, phone, or Zoom)
• The topic(s) you would like to discuss

I will respond with a meeting time that works for both of us.

Please note: Walk-in availability may be limited during college application season, so scheduling ahead is the best way to guarantee time to meet.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this busy season!

The Dallas County Promise Partner Matrix is your one-stop guide to understanding Promise opportunities across partner schools. It outlines each college and university, the family income limits for eligibility, and key application deadlines. This tool helps students and families stay informed and on track, making it easier to plan for a clear and affordable path to higher education.

If your family makes under the amount listed on the right, and your student completes their admissions and financial aid files by the deadline in the middle, your student can go to the corresponding school tuition free.

We can offer parent meeting during the school day! Please email Hunter.Preston@gpisd.org to schedule.

Se ofrece asistencia en español todos los días de 12:30 - 2:45pm. Para programar una cita, manda un correo electrónico a KCaldreon@gpisd.org.

What if I know I make too much?

• A completed FAFSA stills needs to be on file at a college/university/trade school to clear the financial aid hold for registration. Institutional scholarships will not be released to the student without a FAFSA.

Can I let it be a last minute thing in the spring?

• No, the FAFSA needs to be taken care of ASAP in order to meet state and institution deadlines. There are quite a few schools with a deadline of December 1.

Is the FAFSA required?

• Yes, it is a graduation requirement in the state of TX
