Dr. Allen's Message ✍🏻
Dear PME Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we continue our journey through this school year, I wanted to take a moment to share some important updates and reminders.
First, I’d like to thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to your child’s education. Our school community thrives because of the partnership we share with families like yours. Together, we’re fostering an environment where all students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Important Reminders:
Homework & Practice at Home:
In addition to the work we do here at school, we encourage students to engage in basic reading and math practice at home. These activities are essential for reinforcing the skills we’re working on in class. We recommend that students spend a few minutes each day reading, whether it's a book, a story, or even a fun article. Similarly, practicing basic math skills like addition, subtraction, or multiplication (depending on grade level) will really help strengthen their foundational knowledge. While our teachers assign homework to support classroom learning, we know that regular practice outside of school plays a big role in your child’s academic growth. We appreciate your support in creating a consistent routine for homework and practice. If your child ever feels stuck or needs extra help, please encourage them to reach out to their teacher!
- Attendance: Regular school attendance is crucial for your child’s success. If your child will be absent, please notify the school as soon as possible. If there are any concerns or barriers regarding attendance, don’t hesitate to reach out so we can work together.
We are excited about the work we’re doing together to support each student’s learning and development. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me or any of our staff members. We’re here to help and support your child’s success!
Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community.
Warm regards,
Dr. Tamica Allen
