Pennies for Babies
Our school is having our annual March of Dimes Pennies for Babies. Each homeroom is collecting change to donate to this worthy cause. We will be sending out some March of Dimes information like the picture below through Dojo to help with awareness of this organization. March 28 is the last day for our Pennies for Babies drive.

Students will complete Spring Diagnostic on March 25 and March 27. Please encourage your students to take their time and do their very best.
Spring Break
Spring Break begins March 29. Students will be out of school from March 29 through April 5. We will return on April 8.
4th Quarter Progress Reports
4th Quarter Progress Reports will go out on April 18. They will come to the emails we have on file. If you have not been receiving the Bi-Weekly Progress Reports, please contact the office to update your information.
Change of Transportation
Please send all changes in transportation in the form of a written note with your child in the morning so that your child is aware of the change and the teacher is aware. We have no way to verify the person on the phone and teachers will not always see Dojo during the day when they are teaching. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

It's Been a Great Week at BES!!
Good Afternoon,
We have had a wonderful week at BES!! I sent out Bi-Weekly Progress Reports today. Please be reminded that these reports give your child's year to date average in each subject and not their quarterly average. Next week, we will be taking our Spring diagnostics. Please ensure that you child is here each day unless an absence is absolutely necessary. Also, please encourage your child to da his/her best. We will use the information from these reports to give one last push before SC Ready. I have included a picture of all the SC Ready testing dates above. Please do not schedule any appointments on those day and try your best to ensure they are present and on time on those days.
Please know that we value your input. If you have any questions, comments, concerns or suggestions, please let us know. You can email us or call us anytime. We will respond within 48 hours of receiving the message. At BES, our mission is to partner with the home and community to provide a safe, supportive and innovative learning environment to ensure ALL students are equipped with the knowledge, skills and core values needed for success. These actions will enable us to reach of vision of creating a learning community that to Believe in themselves, Excel in performance, and Succeed in life.
Looking forward to another fabulous week! Have a great weekend!
