A Note from Mr. Alston

Dear Community and Staff,

As November arrives, I am filled with gratitude for our students, staff, families, and the entire Kelloggsville community. This season reminds us to pause and reflect on all we’ve accomplished together so far this school year, and to look ahead with excitement for what’s to come.

Our classrooms are full of energy and creativity as students dive into new learning experiences. This month, we’re especially excited to host our Rocket STEM Night on Wednesday, November 19, from 5:00–7:00 PM, inside our STEM room. Students and staff will be on hand to showcase and explain our STEM curriculum from grades 3 through 12, giving families a firsthand look at the engaging, hands-on learning experiences happening across our district. This event will feature interactive activities in science, technology, engineering, and math, making it an excellent opportunity for students to explore, create, and discover alongside their families and teachers.

I want to thank our dedicated staff for their continued hard work and commitment to student success. Their passion for teaching and belief in our students make Kelloggsville a truly special place to learn and grow. I also want to thank our families and community partners for their ongoing support. You are an essential part of what makes our district strong.

As we approach Thanksgiving, let’s take time to celebrate all that unites us as a community. From classrooms to athletic fields to family events, Kelloggsville continues to shine because of the people who care deeply about our students and their future.

It’s a great day to be a Rocket!

Score BIG with Attendance: November Challenge!

This month, Central KV is counting tardies on the attendance challenge! Each class must have 90% on-time attendance each day (including both absences and tardies) to earn a football on their class jersey.

In September and October, we only tracked absences—but now we’re upping the stakes to challenge students even more! Let’s see which classes can stay in the game and score big with great attendance this month!
