Happy Friday, SHS families, and early Valentine’s wishes from us as well. I spoke with the students this morning about our Virtue of the week, Courtesy, in the lens of how we show our love for others. How we are called to give it freely and expect nothing in return. My hope is they will take this as a sign to head into a long Presidents’ Day weekend showing that selfless Courtesy to our families.
Looking into next week, the Lenten season will begin on Wednesday. Our students will attend the 8:05 Mass and receive their ashes. We invite you to attend Mass with us and enter into this season of Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving with our school and parish community.
Enrollment for the 26-27 school year is starting to heat up, especially in our PreK class. If you have a PreK student that you are intending to send to SHS next year, make sure you confirm that spot before we fill up. I will be reaching out next week to all families that listed siblings entering into PreK on their intent forms to confirm spots. Feel free to reach out early to have those conversations.
