AIP Requirements and Parent Information
Hello Parents,
As a follow-up to previous STAAR assessment results, some students may be required to participate in an Academic Improvement Plan (AIP). An AIP is a plan developed to provide additional academic support in specific content areas identified through a student’s STAAR performance. The plan outlines the areas of need and the instructional support, interventions, or progress monitoring that will be provided to help the student demonstrate academic growth.
AIP requirements are based on applicable state and district guidelines and may continue until the identified requirements are met. The purpose of the AIP is to provide targeted support and monitor student progress in the identified academic areas.
If an AIP applies to your student, the grade-level assistant principal will send you a letter with additional information, including details about the plan and any required next steps. Thank you all for your partnership and support with your student's achievement.
