Sharing the Joy!
The first grade study of sound was brought to life through a collaboration with both the music and art classes. Students learned about sound waves, explored higher and lower frequencies and the many ways sound waves can be produced. Armed with this knowledge, students were challenged to create their own musical instruments (properly decorated, of course!)to represent their own creativity and style. End result? Personalized instruments that were proudly played and displayed!
