November Lifeline: Gratitude
This month, we’re focusing on Gratitude—noticing and appreciating the good things in our lives and the people who make them happen. Gratitude is about choosing to pause, reflect, and say “thank you” for both the big and small things that make each day brighter.
At home, you can help your child grow in gratitude by:
-
Sharing one thing you’re thankful for at the dinner table or bedtime.
-
Writing a quick thank-you note or drawing a picture for someone who’s made a difference.
-
Noticing the “everyday helpers” in your world—bus drivers, cafeteria staff, neighbors—and talking about the ways they make life better.
-
Reflecting together on this question: What’s something good that happened today, and who helped make it possible?
When we take time to express gratitude, we strengthen our connections and nurture a more joyful outlook on life.
Dear Boone Meadow Families -
Thank you, parents and guardians, for taking the time to meet with teachers during student conferences this week. We hope your conversations provided valuable insight into your child’s growth—both the many strengths to celebrate and the areas where they continue to stretch and strive. We deeply value your partnership and the dedication you show to your child’s learning journey.
As we head into coming days, there’s so much happening in and around our school community!
Please take note of the highlights below:
