St.Francis de Sales Catholic School

O most Holy Virgin, immaculate in body

and spirit, look kindly on me as I implore

your powerful intercession.

O most Holy Mother, receive my prayers

as I present them to God.

(state your intentions here)

O Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother,

you intercede for us with your Son.

O Mary conceived without sin,

pray for us who have recourse to thee. Amen.

Our 3rd and 4th Grade students enjoyed the opportunity to play in last week's very first All Catholic Schools Basketball Tournament for these grade levels and representing our school. Congratulations go to our amazing athletes, bringing home the 2nd Place trophy! A big "thank you" to Our Lady of Las Vegas for hosting this week long tournament! We are truly grateful to Mrs. Villanueva and Mrs. Antos for making this fun-filled and memorable event possible for these young students. We would especially like to thank our amazing Cheerleaders and Mrs. Larson for their support and cheering us on for each and every game. G-o-o-o Spirits!!!

During this Second Week of Advent we are called to reflect on what gives us peace, that deep down, real peace we all need as we prepare to receive the Light of The World.

Father of all, so great is Your love for us that You gave us the gift of Your Son. He healed us, forgave us, and showed us the way to You. May we always know the joy and hope of His presence among us. We make this prayer in the name of Jesus, our Lord. Amen

We invite our school community to join us in supporting Wreaths Across America by donating a wreath to the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City. On December 14th there will be a wreath laying ceremony for our Veterans. Every contribution helps to honor and remember our heroes. Please click here for more information on how to donate.
