IMPORTANT NEXT STEPS
This newsletter will provide you with the information you need to support your child in beginning their journey as a Timberlane Timberwolf!
1. Provide the most up-to-date academic records (unofficial transcript and report card)
This should be submitted to the district registrar at the time of registration (registrar@hvrsd.org).
2. Contact your child's former school and ask them to send official school records to:
Timberlane Middle School
Attn: Corrine Rutt
51 S. Timberlane Drive
Pennington, New Jersey 08534
3. Submit your child's World Language and Electives choices by clicking on the appropriate link below.
Course selections will be finalized based on review of your transcript.
Rising Grade 6 Elective & World Language Google Form
Rising Grade 7 Elective & World Language Google Form
Rising Grade 8 Elective & World Language Google Form
4. Check your email for a message from OnCourse. Follow instructions to activate your account and grant your child permission to access their account.
Please ensure you complete this important step. See below for more information.
Academic Course Placement for New Students
If your child is registered during the summer months, your child's school counselor will contact you in mid-August to arrange a course selection meeting.
After a careful review of your child's academic records, subject area supervisors will recommend the most appropriate math, language arts, and world language courses for your child. These recommendations will be shared with you during the course selection meeting. If you disagree with the recommended placements, please contact the subject area supervisor to request a placement test. Placement tests are only administered to students who have completed the registration process.

Special Education / 504 Plans
If your child has an active IEP or 504 Plan, please provide the registrar with the most current version, along with any testing that has been done in the past three years. The case manager, in collaboration with the School Counselor, will create your schedule.
