Eagle Edition

It has been a pleasure seeing many families at the Fall Festival, Conferences, and the Halloween classroom parties. We value and appreciate our Edison school community!

This is a busy week for more school events!

Monday, November 4th, is our final day of Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences. We will hold conferences again in March as requested by the parent or teacher. Please remember that student progress can be monitored using the Parent Portal throughout the school year. We encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher throughout the school year as needed.

There is no school for students on Tuesday, November 5th.

We hope you will join us this Wednesday, November 6th, for Caregiver's Night Out at 6:00 PM followed by the PTO Meeting at 7:00 PM. Childcare is provided for these events! Crossroads Health will be joining us to address the topics of self-care for parents, supporting children through anxiety, and using co-regulation to help children manage their emotions.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be going on Friday, November 8th, though Monday, November 11th. We will be opening up the school on Saturday November 9th, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM for families to visit the Scholastic Book Fair and Santa's Secret Holiday Shop.

Thank you for your support and involvement!

If you believe your child is experiencing challenges in terms of their mental well-being, it is important to reach out to your principal. To meet your child’s needs, it’s essential to collaborate with the principal and school personnel to explore resources and services available at school. In addition to Crossroads Counselors, the District also has family liaisons and guidance counselors who can provide needed interventions and support.

A 2025 Chevrolet Trax 1LS is up for grabs! Raffle tickets are available at this Car Raffle Website. All proceeds go to the student groups in the schools. The drawing will be held at the North-South Basketball game in January.

The Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools and the Cleveland Food Bank will provide monthly produce for any family in the community. Please see below for dates and locations.

Edison families and staff are automatically part of our PTO! Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Edison Eagle Landing. You can reach out to the PTO via email at eagles@edisonpto.org, and can follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
