October 18, 2024

We had so much fun at Move-a-thon on Monday!! Thank you to all our parent volunteers, especially Joanna Gool and Marie McDevitt, for a wonderful event for our students! As of Wednesday morning we raised over $10,000 for our school!! This money will be used to provide support for field trips, bring in assembly programs, and purchase new equipment for the playground.

Save the date for our Halloween Parade and Party on Thursday October 31st!

Parade will be at 1:00 out on our field. Only approved volunteers will be permitted in the building for classroom parties. Please consider carpooling as parking is always a problem. Please park in our large lot or at the Art Association and avoid parking along Market St., this is a traffic hazard.

LOST & FOUND Reminder

Please put your child's name in their lunchbox, on their water bottle and in their jackets! The Lost and Found is filling up! We will gladly return items to children who have their name on them! Items will be donated at the end of the month.

Please see info on Science Explorers below AND a discount code!

Many of our Hillsdale Husky families have Hispanic Heritage. We would love to celebrate this month by showcasing the beautiful diversity within our Hispanic Community. If you would like to celebrate your Hispanic Heritage, join us by following these steps:

  1. Print out whichever version of the sheet you would prefer (Spanish or English).
  2. Draw or paste a family picture.
  3. Draw or paste the flag or flags that represent your countries. If you have more than two, feel free to add more!
  4. Write one thing about your Hispanic culture that is special to you or that you love!
  5. Send your sheet into school to be displayed in our hallways.

If you are in the building, feel free to check out our “Pioneer’s of Change” Interactive Bulletin Board in the front lobby to learn more about some Hispanic Trailblazers!
