Celebrations! Celebrations!

Congratulations to our new Beginner Select Band Members!

We would like to congratulate all of our students who auditioned for Beginner Select Band. Preparing for an audition takes commitment, perseverance, and support from home, and we truly appreciate the encouragement families provide throughout this process. We are especially proud of the students who earned a spot in the Beginner Select Band, as this reflects their hard work and growing musicianship. We are grateful for our families’ continued support and look forward to watching these students continue to develop confidence, discipline, and a love of music through band.

Vertical Raise Fundraiser Vertical Raise Fundraiser

Help us reach our goal!

Please share this to help us reach our goal of $10,000! We are currently right around $2,300.

This fundraiser is to help keep the cost of our spring trips down! The more we raise now, the less the trip will cost in the future. This also helps us to be able to do things like purchase new instruments, equipment, and hire clinicians/masterclass teachers.

Click here to support the Lynn Lucas Band Fundraiser

Fundraising is vital for the success of our band program. The funds will aid us in purchasing new equipment, contest fees, keeping trip costs down, and other pertinent expenses. Each participant has a monetary goal, please consider donating and sharing via text message, social media and email so that they may reach it. Thank you so much for your continued generosity and support!BOOST OUR CAUSE THROUGH BUSINESS SPONSORSHIPIf you're a business owner or know of a company interested in supporting a worthy endeavor, click on the Corporate Sponsor box below. Learn more about how your company can be prominently featured on our fundraising page, visible to all our supporters & visitors. It's a win-win opportunity for your business and our program.DOUBLE YOUR DONATIONWhen donating, please make sure to type in your employer in the “double your donation” section to see if they are listed in our database of companies that participate in a donor match program for their employees. It could double your donation and help our program even more.

Sectionals - Performing Bands Only Sectionals - Performing Bands Only

Wind Ensemble - all with Mrs. Cicchillo

As per our band handbook, sectional attendance & after school rehearsals are required and are a major grade. YOU MUST BE ON TIME FOR THE START OF SECTIONALS!

If your student has a morning sectional time, students may be dropped off by a parent/guardian as early as 6:45am. They will need to enter through the exterior band hall entrance, which is directly to the right of the front office. Knock loudly so either Mrs. Cicchillo or Mr. Iannini can hear you and let you in!

If your student has an after school sectional or rehearsal, please arrange for your student to be picked up by 5:20PM at the latest. Students will be picked up in the front of the school in the car rider line.

If there is an issue with either of these times, please email the band directors so we can help facilitate your students transportation needs.

How to turn in money for band

Please use SchoolPay as your first option! If you aren't able to pay online for any reason, then use the following avenues for payment:

All of our money is collected in a safe in our band hall and then processed by the band directors and front office staff. That being said, we try to keep things as streamlined as possible!

ALL money will be turned into the safe in a labeled envelope with the following information:

  • Student's first & last name
  • Date the money was turned in
  • What the money is being turned in for
  • How much money is in the envelope
  • Amount of change needed (if any)
  • We will provide envelopes in the band hall as needed!

When turning in cash:

  • Please try to send exact change whenever possible.
  • Please notate how much change is needed on the envelope.
  • Change will be returned to students during their class period to take home in their band binder.

When turning in checks:

  • Please make all checks payable to "Lynn Lucas Middle School Band"
  • Please write your student's first and last name on the memo section of the check to streamline our receipt keeping records.
