Ambler Elementary Summer Update #2
Growing Stronger Together!
A Message from Dr. Lewis
Parents,
I am excited to begin my 27th year as principal of Ambler Elementary as we enter the 2026–2027 school year! I continue to be incredibly proud of our exceptional team, made up of dedicated teachers, caring support staff, and an outstanding Leadership Team.
At Ambler, we are fortunate to have kind, hardworking students who strive to do their best each day, as well as supportive families who partner with us in their success. We are also grateful for our strong PTO, whose commitment helps us go above and beyond for our entire school community.
This year, our theme is “Growing Stronger Together,” and it truly reflects who we are as a school family. By working collaboratively and supporting one another, we are building a strong foundation that prepares our students for success in middle school and beyond.
Together, we shine—growing stronger together each day.
Dr. Lewis, Principal

Each session will incorporate the Palmetto Basics and include an engaging read-aloud, interactive learning stations, a light snack, and a free copy of the featured book to take home.

Media Denial Opt Out Information
As in previous years, you have the option to opt out if you prefer that photos of your child are not shared on social media or that their information is not publicly posted or shared.
Please note that the opt-out process has changed this year. In the past, this could be completed through FinalForms; however, you are now required to sign a physical form and return it to the school.
The form is linked below, and printed copies will also be available in the front office for your convenience.
If you do not want SDPC to disclose directory information from your child's education records to any outside organization without your prior written consent, you must complete the Opt-out for Media & Directory Information Form (also known as "Media Denial Form").The completed form must be returned to your student's principal no later than fifteen (15) days after registration. Media denial is not considered complete without the written form. An Opt-out for Media & Directory Information Form is required to be completed and returned each year for students to retain opt-out status.
