BCSD Early Release Drill 11/9/22

On Wednesday, November 9 we will be conducting an Early Release Drill.

All schools will be dismissed 15 minutes early. As such, buses are scheduled to depart 15 minutes earlier than normal. If necessary, please make alternate transportation arrangements for your child. This drill does not impact UPK or our afternoon WEMOCO students. We conduct safety drills periodically to ensure students and staff know how to respond in the event of an emergency.

Brockport High School Strategic Improvement Plan 2022-23

In work with our department chairperson representatives over the final months of the 2021-22 school year, in collaboration with our K-12 instructional council, and in our summer 2022 leadership institute, Brockport Central School District identified four priority areas to focus the building and district improvement plans across our district. Using those priorities to guide our work, the BHS Building Planning team has designed our building-wide Strategic Plan for 2022-23 with the identified goals below in each priority area.

District Strategic Plan Priority Areas

  • District Priority 1: MTSS

BHS Goal: The district will implement consistent multi-tiered systems and structures that will support instructional practices as measured by data-based evidence within each building.

  • District Priority 2: Innovative Practices

BHS Goal: The district will engage in innovative practices across all schools and departments.

  • District Priority 3: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

BHS Goal: The district will identify and address needs within the school community resulting in awareness, acceptance, and inclusivity.

  • District Priority 4: Climate and Culture

BHS Goal: The district will implement procedures and practices to promote a positive, engaging, and empowering climate and culture.

Over the course of the 2022-23 school year, our team will monitor or progress toward meeting these goals and adjust our plans accordingly. This is all part of the cycle of continual improvement and is our duty to our school and community. We appreciate your support in meeting these goals and are ready in all ways for your partnership in this work.
