Another fun-filled week here at Holy Cross. The teachers started the week in a School of Faith retreat led by Mrs. Jennie Punswick. Mrs. Kerth opened up her lake house to the staff and we were able to pray, meditate and grow in our faith in order to be the most faith-filled role models for our students.

We had Bishop Miege come talk to us this week about our eighth graders that are going to attend their high school next year. It was a great talking to them about the amazing students they will receive from Holy Cross. They were able to meet the students who shared what they are looking forward to next year at Miege.

It was so fun celebrating our parents this week. From coffee and donuts to honoring our parent volunteers at Mass. Holy Cross parents are the absolute best!!! We have been so blessed with dedicated parents that want the best for our school community. As we have a wonderful group of volunteers, we are always looking for more volunteers for the 24-25 school year, especially our biggest fundraiser, Celebration! Believe it or not, the planning process has already begun. It is vital that we have as many volunteers as possible. Please reach out today, email Melissa Wagner at mwagner@holycrosscatholicschool.

We would love to invite our students over to Holy Cross Catholic Church every week at the weekend Masses. In order to do that, we would like to start "Pack the Church Sundays" now until the end of the year. If your child wears their school uniform to Sunday Mass, they can be out of uniform the following Monday until the end of the year. No need for a pass, it will be on the honor system. I can't wait to see more of our students at Holy Cross Masses!

Thank you Mrs. Petri, Mr. Wright and all the parent volunteers that prepared for our Bake Sale. This morning was a huge success and I can't wait to see the results of the sale from the weekend Masses at Church.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 30th for the Spring Band (6:30pm) and Music Concert (7pm) in the gym. More information below.

We are looking forward to another great week! Have an awesome weekend!

Middle School Parents,

Holy Cross Catholic School middle school students are required to provide their own Chromebook device for use at school and at home for homework. This is part of their school supply list. It will be something they use multiple times a day, every day.

Below is a list of devices that would work for our system and what they will be doing in class. These are just a few options. You are welcome to choose whatever device you see fit for your child as long as it is a Chromebook. If you find another device and want to double check it will work please email me at lloeffert@holycrosscatholicschool.com.

Chromebook device options for Holy Cross Students:

Acer Chomebook Spin 513 Convertible Laptop

Acer Spin Chromebook

Dell Chromebook

HP Chromebook

HP 360 Chromebook

I would also recommend a carrying case for the chromebook. I have seen many chromebooks fall on the floor, get jostled around, and not cared for as well as we would hope. Having a case to place the Chromebook in while switching classes could increase the longevity of the device.

Students are required to have this device on the first day of school and it will be connected to the system for the duration of their time at Holy Cross.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
