WMS Weekly Update February 27, 2026

Good Afternoon WMS Families:

We were glad to welcome students back on Friday after four snow days, and it was a great day. Students arrived safely, classes were back on schedule, and we appreciated everyone's patience and flexibility following the historic storm.

Please know that before the decision was made to reopen Friday, administrators worked collectively with the Mayor’s office, the Department of Public Works, our transportation provider, and our facilities team to ensure our students could return safely.

We are continuing to monitor conditions and remain flexible. As they did on Friday, the bus company will continue to pick students up at alternative locations and pick up any students walking to school. Please contact me (Mr. Atkinson) directly with any questions or concerns.

Thank you - have a great weekend!
