Greetings MMS Families,

As we head further into the spring season, there is much to celebrate at Merrimack Middle School. Congratulations to the talented cast and crew of our spring musical, "Just So," whose dedication, creativity, and commitment made the production a tremendous success. We also applaud our Concert Band for their outstanding performance at the NHMEA Large Group Festival, you sounded terrific! Last week our school community had fun celebrating Pi Day, with even more teams continuing the festivities on Monday. Good luck to our Chorus students as the perform in the Celebration of Song this Tuesday night! This week we are honored to welcome guest speaker Kati Preston, who will share her family’s story of surviving the The Holocaust as part of our ongoing focus on empathy and understanding. Finally, a reminder that registration for our Spring Conferences opens Monday, March 16th at 5:00 PM, and we look forward to seeing families during conferences on March 25th.

Thank you for all your support during our exciting month!

Dismissal/Visiting Procedures Dismissal/Visiting Procedures

In our ongoing effort to increase school security, we have the following procedures when parents/guardians come to our school during school hours. Thank you all for your understanding.

Dismissal - If dismissing a student, we ask that an authorized dismissing parent/guardian show their ID in the foyer, and then wait in that location for the dismissed student to meet you.

Dropping off items - If a parent/guardian is dropping off an item for a student, we ask that they leave it in the designated area in the foyer.

Visiting the school - If parents/guardians are arriving for a scheduled meeting, we ask that they show their ID in the foyer and then sign in at the main office to receive a visitor pass.
